The production was directed by Shirley Halpin. The play was about three couples, on different levels of the “professional and social ladder”. Ron Halpin and Sherry Barnes at the bottom, Malcolm Dye and Maureen Dye in the middle, Alan Cooke and Pat Faircloth at the top. All the men worked at same company with Ron’s character struggling to climb further up. He and Sherry, as his painfully shy, socially inept wife attend dinner at both couple’s homes … at the same time! Imagine, Ron and Sherry on swivel chairs in the middle of the table and had dialogues and dinners at both homes simultaneously, turning chairs appropriately.
