       Acknowledgement

    of Country

We acknowledge that the land that we gather and perform on is the traditional country and homelands of the Taribelang Bunda, Gooreng Gooreng, Gurang, and Bailai Peoples of the Bundaberg region.

We acknowledge they have walked, cared for, sung, told stories and danced on this land for thousands of years. We acknowledge and respect their spiritual relationship, cultural heritage, beliefs and connection to this land, and it is still important to their descendants of today.

We acknowledge the Elders, those here today and those who have passed back into the great dreaming.

'And Then There Were None' by Agatha Christie

Ten people arrive on Soldier Island, invited by an unknown host.  Each of them has a secret to hide and a crime for which they must pay.  The strangers include a reckless playboy, a troubled doctor, a formidable judge, an uncouth detective, an unscrupulous mercenary, a God-fearing spinster, two restless servants, a highly decorated officer and an anxious secretary.  One by one they are picked off, their fates eerily mimicking the ominous nursery rhyme hanging in each room ‘Ten Little Soldiers’.  Will anyone survive? Who is the killer?

    Our 500th Production ...

Revue 500 is a celebration of Bundaberg Players Incorporated’s 500th stage production. The Bundaberg Amateur Players (later renamed BPI) was founded in 1950, and performed our first production, ‘Miss Hook of Holland’, in 1951 at Bundaberg’s old Wintergarden Theatre. 74 years and 500 productions later, BPI is one of the oldest regional theatre companies in Queensland, presenting an average of seven unparalleled high-quality productions each year. Join us to celebrate some of the amazing shows that led us to this incredible milestone.
